At Yeovil Community Church we believe worship is a response to the revelation of God, we spend time worshipping together on Sunday mornings in our corporate gatherings, as well as in our small groups, prayer triplets and other events.
We believe, as Paul writes in Romans 12, that we are called to ‘offer our bodies as a living sacrifice’ worship is something we do with our whole lives and not just on a Sunday, so we are passionate about exploring what this means for us in our local context, serving the community and learning to worship in our day to day lives.
Each month we run an evening of worship called encounter, this is a time with no agenda where we turn up and see what God has in store for us, this can be times of worship, silence, dancing, meditating, celebrating and hearing God for one another. To find out when the next encounter is check our events page.
Many people serve on our worship team, we always have need for musicians, sound engineers, visuals, lighting and film teams. We meet together as a team each week to rehearse but also to worship together and be community together. Once a month we have a team night or worship together with other churches.
