Leaders

Adam Dyer
Rachel and I moved to Yeovil in 2003 with our 4 children, Jacob, Emilia, Zachary and Elijah, to take up the position of Youth Director here at YCC. In 2008 I was called to step up into a position of leading the leadership team. Since arriving here I have established Urban Warriors and am particularly passionate about seeing young people fulfil their potential and become everything God created them to be. I am creative and energetic and love God passionately. I also am a little obsessive about Manchester United and have something of a liking for Coca Cola.

Rachel Dyer - Children & Families Leader
I am married to Adam and we have 4 delightful children. Adam and I moved with our children from the North West in 2003 and prior to living in Yeovil, I worked as a Family Law solicitor and have recently trained as an Early Years Professional. I now work part-time for YCC as Children and Families leader. My heart is to see children and their families released from brokenness and for the hope of Jesus Christ to become a reality in the lives of people in Yeovil.

Claire Hardy - 11 to 18s Leader
I was born and grew up in Yeovil. I have always loved being part of YCC and have worked full time for the church since 2006. I was part of the Urban Warriors team for 3 years and I am now the 11-18s leader, which means I am responsible for young people in the church. I am really passionate about young people knowing God and growing in their relationship with Him. I want them to be healed, transformed and restored so they can be all that God calls them to be. I believe working with young people is so exciting and I feel very blessed that this is my job!
In my spare time I love spending time with my husband Joe, and our families and friends. I also enjoy going on holiday and seeing other places around the world!
Joe Hardy
I am married to Claire, I was born in Croydon and moved to Yeovil soon afterwards, which is where I still live. I have grown up in YCC being a part of the worship team and have led worship for many years. I lead Urban Warriors youth work project based here at YCC bringing volunteers from all over the world to work with the young people of our town. I also sing in a rock band called Brought into being, we play gigs all over the UK sharing what God has done in our lives.
I have a real passion for creativity and seeing God's creativity released in people whether that's through music, media, dance or anything else creative. I want to see people connecting to our creator God through creativity.

Sarah Horder
I am married to Phil and have 2 wonderful girls, Faith and Grace. I came to Yeovil in 1994 after training in the fine arts and I now split my time between working with the leadership team and pursuing my love of painting and all things broken and shiny! I believe that God speaks today. He speaks in many different ways, sometimes in word, sometimes in image, sometimes in ways we can barely comprehend. I believe that God will speak to each one of us, so that we are all healed and transformed to be who we are meant to be in Christ, so we can do the things that only we can do for Him.

Malcolm Nichols
I am a Yeovilian by birth, am married to Lynn and have three children; Becky, Daniel & Joel. I divide my working day between helping to co-ordinate YCC and directing a local leather business, which involves my travelling overseas periodically. I am a YCC trustee, and I enjoy going for walks to relax. I like reading computer magazines so I can pretend that I know what I'm talking about when the conversation turns technical.

Alan Partington - Community Pastoral Leader
I am part of the leadership team and employed on a full time basis. I work as the Community Pastoral Leader and am involved in overseeing areas of a pastoral nature both in the Community and the Church. I am 'chair' of governors in a local school in Yeovil. Some of my other activities include being chaplain to the Yeovil Police Force, Devon and Somerset Fire & Rescue Service and our local ASDA supermarket.
Although I originate from the North West of England, I have lived in Yeovil for 24 years. My spare time is taken up with walking, relaxing with friends, cooking and seeing new places. I am married to Marion and have two daughters Becky and Sarah.

Jan Stevens
I am married to Malcolm and am thrilled to be on the team. My desire is to see God's people healed, restored and free.

Malcolm Stevens
I am married to Jan and have two grown-up children. Before coming to YCC, we lived in Aberdeen and were part of City Church Aberdeen where I was a member of their Leadership Team. My heart is to see people healed, restored, forgiven, praising God, built into the church community and operating at their full potential! I am also one of the Trustees.
